CHICKENS!

You can't really find a better animal on the planet, in my opinion. Chickens are the prefect answer for anyone who desires an attractive, engaging pet, an easy-to-care-for food source, or a rewarding, time-honored pastime.

For me, chickens are all of the above. I spend more of my free time with my birds than I probably should, but it doesn't get any better than these birds. I've kept them for the better chunk of my life, and I can't imagine living without them!

Chickens are nearly a must if you are a gardener. Not only do they look extremely charming wandering around the garden, but they do so much for it as well! Chickens will eat nearly all common garden weeds and pest insects, and will return the favor with fresh eggs and high quality manure.
